I believe writers instinctively know from an early age that
writing is their calling.

While some diligently continue on their life's path working at their
craft, others of us follow a different road taking us wherever life
may lead. However, all roads lead home,
and eventually the writer in us pulls us back to our roots, our first
love-- the written word.
This site is dedicated to me and other writers who experience this reawakening and strive
toward the ultimate prize...publication.

In my particular circumstance, I began writing when I was
young. Was I any good at it? Honestly? ...No. I never completely
fleshed out my characters, and my plots were sketchy.
What can you expect from a ten year old? All throughout my school
years, I wrote: poems,
stories, essays, limericks, and lyrics. After graduation, swept away
by the flow of life, I had
abandoned writing. All remained quiet within me while I went
along, day-to-day, convinced I
had exhausted this means of self-expression...until almost twenty
 years later. That's when
the beast woke up...

In 1981, I encountered a man down by the Nautical Mile in
Freeport, Long Island.
He had these incredibly intense eyes, and the feeling of deja vu--
that I knew this man --was overwhelming. However, I never
investigated this experience any further, and put the matter
out of my mind. In 1999, the memory of this man began creeping
into my thoughts, haunting me.
In an effort to exorcise this memory, I began constructing a
story around him.
Instead of making him go away, the story grew giving life to the
character I call Quentin Peace.
After three months of daydreaming, I began putting  the story on
paper, and nine months and
tons of editing later, THE LEGION was complete.
LEGION'S NEMESIS followed, and
THE PATH is my work-in-progress. My horror short stories include
DEAD MAN'S FINGERS, DANGLING THINGS, THE NECKLACE,
CLUTTER, MOVING DAY, and WANDSCHRANKGESCHÖPFEN.
